HK40 is scheduled for December 12, 2014 and will have another electrifying main event between two of the most skilled mixed-martial artists in the world!

CLAY DAVIDSON vs. RODNEY “SHO NUFF THE MASTER” WALLACE

This title fight will pit a former UFC contender against another warrior of the cage! These two have both paid their dues to get here. When they enter the cage on December 12th, they will be fighting for all the glory in this action-filled event!

Clay Davidson is a veteran of the cage and has been fighting professionally since 2007. Davidson brings a 9-7-0 record into HK 40 and won his last fight on October 3, 2014 by first round submission. To say this Penticton, British Columbia fighter is a submission expert might be a bit of an understatement given the fact that all nine of his wins are by submission. Guillotine choke, Kimura, Rear-Naked Choke are just a few of Davidson’s specialties used to finish previous opponents.

Rodney “Sho Nuff The Master” Wallace has been kicking butt and taking names professionally since 2008. Wallace made it all the way to the finale of the Ultimate Fighter 10! He went on to fight several times in the UFC and for Bellator MMA. His fight at UFC 111 was selected as “Fight of the Night.” At HK 40, “The Master” will enter the cage for the 32nd time in his career with a respectable record of 21-9-1! Wallace will surely be looking to show the crowd at HK40 why he is known as “The Master,” so you will definitely want to make plans to see this MMA legend in action on December 12, 2014!

SAM FRANCHI vs. BINDERPAUL NANARA

Two undefeated mixed martial artists will be fighting for the vacant Amateur Flyweight title at HK 40. Fighting out of Calgary, Alberta will be Sam Franchi who won his debut match back in June 2014 when that fight went the distance and he earned the victory by unanimous decision. Franchi trained with MMA University to prepare for this upcoming match.

Vancouver, British Columbia fighter Binderpaul Nanara trained with Iron City Muay Thai in anticipation of HK 40. Nanara also won his debut fight back in May 2014 by TKO in the second round.

The pace of this fight is guaranteed to be fast and furious as these two up-and-coming fighters battle for the title so early in their careers! This will make for an exciting conclusion to a thrilling card of amateur fights at HK 40, so get your tickets in advance!

WFC 32
Fri Dec 12 11:00PM ET

Click here to watch this event on GoFightLive!

Hard hitting MMA returns as WFC presents “WFC 32” on December 12 from the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada live on the GFL Combat Sports Network. WFC events are premier boxing and MMA shows, promoted across the United States as a proving ground for tomorrow’s future stars and established veterans looking to mix it up. This huge card features several up and coming fighters from the region.

In the main event, for the WFC Welterweight Championship, Champion James Nava (4-0) battles Daniel Reece (4-2). Nava won the title earlier this year via TKO and has remained undefeated, finishing all 4 of his opponents. Nava is an experienced grappler and can submit anyone because of the constant pressure he puts on his opponent, forcing them into tactical mistakes. Reece will be the toughest test for Nava. Reece’s wins have come via TKO and he can end a fight with one punch. Reece is relentless in his pursuit in the cage and throws punches and kicks with bad intentions every time. Look for Reece to make this a dog fight in the center of the cage. The results will be explosive.

WFC Featherweight Champion Hernan Avila (8-1) returns to the cage and is also scheduled to compete. Avila won the title back at “WFC 28” via first round TKO. Look for Avila to put together another impressive showing in his first WFC title defense.

Brennan Mishler (1-0) is also on the card. Mishler is a submission specialist who goes for submission holds in any position. No one is safe if they are on the mat with Mishler.

Adam Hebenstreich (1-2) is coming off a TKO victory in his last fight and looks to get another win before the end of 2014. Hebenstreich has never been KO’d or submitted and is a tough draw for anyone. Southwest MMA is ready to deliver again! Be sure to catch all of the action, LIVE on December 12 as WFC presents “WFC 32” exclusively at GFL.tv.For full fight card and more details about this event, visit gfl.tv or click here

The 8 intriguing contests will feature athletes from ten of the tri-state’s top Muay Thai and MMA gyms. Riddick adds, “We’ve got many fighters making their amateur debuts, and for them and their fans, the excitement and anticipation rivals any world championship battle. A large portion of the gate proceeds will benefit two great charities — Autism Speaks and The American Cancer Society — thereby making this event not only a platform to showcase these fighters, but also a path to aiding those less fortunate.

CFFC 44: Bezerra v Makashvili
Sat Dec 13 7:00PM ET

Click here to watch this event on GoFightLive!

Cage Fury Fighting Championships returns on December 13 to GFL.tv with championship MMA with “CFFC 44” from the Sands Casino in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Pro MMA fighters from around the East Coast will descend on this card that features several of the top ranked and up and coming athletes in the region and 2 title fights! CFFC has expanded its stranglehold on Northeast MMA as they continue to pump out one blockbuster show after another.

In the main event, in a rematch, for the CFFC Featherweight Title, Champion Alexandre Bezerra defends his title for the first time against former Champion Levan Makashvili. Bezerra won the title after a majority decision at “CFFC 38”. These two 145 lb fighters are two of the top prospects in North America and they are going to continue their epic battle on December 13. Bezerra prefers to stand and strike while Makashvili is a great submission specialist. The question of this fight will be who will win the clinch as if Makashvili can get the fight to the mat he will have a huge advantage. If Bezerra can keep the fight standing he will be able to score with huge low kicks and slow down the shots of Makashvili in the later rounds. Bezerra will need to be on point with his takedown defense because Makashvili will be relentless with his takedown attempts because he does not want to have another 5-round war predominantly contested in a kickboxing match where Bezerra is strongest. Makashvili is bound and determined to get the fight to the ground and if that happens, he could reclaim his title via tapout.

In the co-main event, for the vacant CFFC Flyweight Championship, Darren Mima (5-2) fights WSOF vet Sedico Honorio (8-4). Mima has made a name for himself around the East Coast MMA circuit as a gritty durable fighter who always comes in shape and ready to battle. Mima is a grinder and likes to wear down his opponents over the course of a full fight and will look to tire Honorio out and then finish hi in the championship rounds. Honorio is a champion with another organization and has had numerous title fights so he will not be phased by the bright lights and what is at stake. Honorio is coming off a TKO victory in his last fight and 5 of his 8 wins have come via stoppage. Look for Honorio to mix it up early and often and try and make this battle a dog fight with Mima.

In other action, in the featherweight division, Bellator vet, Lester Caslow (12-8) takes on Justin Dalton (8-8). Caslow is no stranger to tough fighters as he will pose the strongest test to date for Dalton. Caslow is battle-tested in the cage and the Bellator veteran has KO power in both hands as well as a strong grappling game to go with it. Dalton is a terrific striker having 6 wins via KO or TKO. Dalton is dangerous until the last bell and will be looking to take Caslow out with a punch or kick. The winner of this bout could be in line for a future title shot. It should be a barnburner.

Be there to witness who climbs up the ladder and who is hurled off it as “CFFC 44” throws down the gauntlet on GFL.tv once again! Watch all the top stars of the Northeast bring their fists and hearts into the cage and fight like modern day Spartans! For full fight card and more details about this event, visit gfl.tv or click here

Ohio Fighting Championship 23
Sat Dec 13 7:00PM ET

Click here to watch this event on GoFightLive!

Ohio’s rising MMA promotion returns on GFL as Ohio Fighting Championship presents “OFC 23” from the Courtyard Columbus West in Columbus, Ohio on December 13. MMA fans, this pro/am event is scheduled for 8 bouts featuring the top up and coming prospects inside the Buckeye state. Find out who will be victorious as these gladiators go to battle inside the cage.

In the main event, Donny Korbel (5-0) battles Vladimir Kazbekov (4-1) in a bantamweight fight. Korbel has remained unbeaten after exhibiting a great ability to mix up his attacks. Korbel has 2 wins via TKO and another by submission. Look for Korbel to come out to the middle of the cage and begin throwing heavy leather. If the exchanges don’t go his way, he will likely use his top notch wrestling to go for a takedown. Kazbekov is a terrific grappler getting wins via shoulder lock and choke. Kazbekov is a dangerous opponent and will bring the toughest test for Korbel. Look for Kazbekov to try and get the fight to the ground. He has great submissions off of his back so even if Korbel ends up in top control, Kazbekov can still end the fight with an armbar or triangle choke.

Jacob Miller (0-2) fights Hayden Fisher (0-0) in a welterweight battle. Miller is looking for his first win and has his back against the wall. Miller fights with a high risk style that has made him a fan favorite and his last fight he lost via split decision. Look for Miller to continue to wow the crowd with his fighting style and have his fists and feet flying. Fisher is making his debut and comes into the cage as an unknown commodity. He comes from a tough gym and is battle tested in sparring but this will be the first time he steps into the cage on record. These young upstarts have a lot on the line early in their careers. Who will set come out with the W?

In a lightweight scrap, Jack Basil (0-1) battles Thomas Miracola (0-1). Basil needs a win to even up his record. Basil is a grappler who has continued to work on his striking. Miracola is a heavy handed fighter whose grappling has not caught up with his striking. This fight will depend on who can dominate where the fight goes. It’s striker versus grappler. Expect a KO or submission.

You won’t find more BANG for your buck so order this thrilling event. Be sure to catch all of the action LIVE on December 13 as OFC presents “OFC 23” on pay-per-view exclusively at GFL.tv.For full fight card and more details about this event, visit gfl.tv or click here

Sparta Combat League – Certified Violence
Sat Dec 13 4:00PM ET

Click here to watch this event on GoFightLive!

Sparta Combat League returns to GFL with “Certified Violence” on December 13 a stacked MMA and Muay Thai card from the Grizzly Rose in Denver, Colorado. This event promises to be full speed from bell to bell as some of the best fighters in the Rockies will step into the cage to square off against each other.

For the SCL Middleweight Championship, Adam Stroup (7-2) defends his title against Justin Guthrie (17-6). Guthrie is a title holder with another Colorado promotion so this is kind of a defacto unification title bout with the winner being able to claim he is the top 185 lb fighter in the state. Stroup comes into the fight having won 6 in a row, the last 2 being via TKO in championship fights. Stroup has an especially hard knee that can end a fight if it connects flush one time. Stroup will be the bigger fighter as he has previously fought at 205 lb. Stroup is a precision grappler who can end the fight with a variety of submissions. Stroup is very active on the ground and will look to take it there early. Guthrie holds titles with several federations and has fought in championships bouts 5 times already so he is used to being in a championship atmosphere. Look for Guthrie to try and grind Stroup down, as Guthrie has the cardio to go hard for 5 full rounds. Guthrie can also bang in his own right, and will not shy away from a barnburner. Look for the fight to be won or lost in the trenches. This will be an explosive title fight from start to finish.

Sparta Combat League is sure to bring down the house once again as they have quickly grabbed a chokehold on Mountain West MMA and Muay Thai and this show will continue in that tradition. Order “Certified Violence” and watch it live on December 13 only on GFL.tv.For full fight card and more details about this event, visit gfl.tv or click here
