James Robinson Wins Main Event on Minaya Lebanon Card

Lebanon, PA (December 1st, 2014)– In the main event of a ten bout amateur and professional card promoted by Minaya Promotions and Blyweiss Boxing Club on Saturday evening, November 29, 2014, in Lebanon, Pennsylvania light middleweight James Robinson won a hard fought main decision over veteran Danny Lugo.
Robinson, from York, Pennsylvania, kept moving forward with his jab and outworked Lugo, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who fought to get inside and countered well, but got dropped in the sixth and final round for a 10-8 Robinson bout and the clear win. Robinson is now 3-1-2. Lugo falls to 3-8 but is far better than his record indicates.
Result: James Robinson Win 6 Danny Lugo, Light Middleweights
Scoring: 60-55, 59-56, 58-57 Robinson. Lugo was down in the sixth round.

In the preliminary to the main event, former WBA World Heavyweight champion appeared with his son, Antwaun Taylor of Cincinnati, Ohio, lost his second pro bout when he got stopped by local heavyweight Randy Easton in the fourth round, getting knocked through the ropes three times, causing two standing eight counts and finally the stoppage.
Taylor, a cruiserweight, weighed in with his clothes on to come in at heavyweight, and jabbed and moved well for three rounds against the slow moving Easton. Strangely, Taylor stood in front of Easton in the fourth round and tried to slug it out when he had the fight won. Tubbs said his son would fight again, but not at heavyweight. Easton is out of Marshall Kauffman’s King’s Gym.

Taylor was knocked through the ropes three times in the fourth round.
In the opening bout, Kronk Gym cruiserweight Demetrius Banks went to 4-0 with a four round decision over debuting MMA fighter Darnell Hayes. Hayes went backwards through the ropes in the third round after a push, then beat the 20 count, scored as a knockdown.
