Uptown Saturday Night Rumble! Super Bantamweight Prospect Josh Bowles to Rematch Dangerous Jhovany Collado in Harrisburg

Harrisburg, PA (June 10th, 2014)–The Uptown Saturday Night Rumble is coming up in Harrisburg! Rising (8-2) super bantamweight prospect Josh Bowles of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, will rematch dangerous Dominican Republic (4-8-2) ringer Jhovany Collado in the six round main event of an action packed Jason Bryant Promotions card in Harrisburg at Camp Curtin Gymnasium on Saturday evening, July 12, 2014. Five exciting bouts are scheduled for the card.
Collado fought a six round toe-to-toe thriller with Bowles at the YMCA in Harrisburg this past March 29. Three and a half months later, matchmaker Mike Melendez has recreated the fire, which will insure a memorable evening of boxing in Harrisburg. In 2011, Collado upset (7-2) prospect Eddie Irizarry in Yonkers, New York. In 2012, Collado upset (8-0) world ranked prospect Rafael Vazquez at Resorts World Casino in Queens, New York. In 2013, Collado came off the deck in the first round to fight and lose a close eight round bout with 12-0 prospect Luis Rosa at Foxwoods Resort in Connecticut.
Four other four round bouts are scheduled. Undefeated Cleveland, Ohio (4-0-1) welterweight prospect Charles Natal faces (5-7-3) New York City ringer Jason Thompson, whose record includes draws with world ranked Frank Galarza and Boyd Melson, and has gone the distance with contenders Sadam Ali and Steve Martinez. 1-0 welterweight Isaiah Varisanoof Harrisburg faces 1-0 Anthony Abbruzziof Philadelphia in a battle of young Pennsylvania prospects. New York Middleweight Orlando Diaz will debut against Virginia veteran Taurean Edwards. Harrisburg welterweight Rick Pyle will appear in an exhibition.
Doors for the boxing event open at 6 P.M. at Camp Curtin Gymnasium at 2135 North Sixth Street in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. First bout at 7:30 P.M. Tickets are $20 at the door.
