Sparta Combat League returns on GFL with “Heat”, a stacked MMA card from the Douglas County Event Center in Castle Rock, Colorado. This event promises to be full speed from bell to bell as these pros and amateurs will do battle in the cage.

In the main event for the SCL Middleweight Title, Jason Lee (7-4) battles Adam Stroup (5-1). Lee is riding a 2-fight winning streak and looks to make it 3 in a row. Lee is strong in the clinch and has only gone to decision 2 times in his 11 fight career. Lee will want to strike and close the distance where he can land some knees from close range. If the fight hits the mat, Lee is also an experienced grappler who can hold his own. Stroup comes into the fight having won 4 in a row. Stroup will be the bigger fighter as he has previously fought at 205 lb. Stroup is a precision grappler who can end the fight with a variety of submissions. Stroup is very active on the ground and will look to take it there early. Look for the fight to be won or lost in the trenches.
