2013 Main Events Mashup

2013 was a great year for Main Events. The Totowa, NJ-based promotional company crowned a world champion – and Fighter of the Year candidate – in Sergey Kovalev and presented him and his team with some pretty sweet championship rings! The second season of NBC Sports Network Fight Night featured 17 exciting bouts in seven installments, including two afternoon broadcasts on NBC.

President and CEO, Kathy Duva remarked, “Main Events saw two of our own fighters graduate to HBO in 2013 (Kovalev and Curtis Stevens) while a total of five Fight Night alumni fought on PPV and premium cable this year. I’m so proud of what our fighters and staff have accomplished in just two short years working with the NBC Sports Group.”

2014 will start off with a bang on Friday, January 24th when Curtis Stevens returns to NBCSN Fight Night against piston-fisted Patrick Majewski in the main event. The card will be held at Resorts Casino Hotel – Superstar Theatre in Atlantic City.
