Bantamweight Semifinals Headline As Warren Meets Kirk

 

Newport Beach, CA. (September 20, 2013) – After a slight delay, “The Baddest Man on the Planet” is back as Joe Warren will return to the Bellator cage and headline Bellator’s September 27th event from Portland’s Rose Quarter. The event will feature the opening round of the Bellator Lightweight Tournament, along with some of Portland’s premier talent. Warren will begin his journey through The Toughest Tournament In Sports in his quest for another Bellator Title as he takes on Nick Kirk.

Tickets for the event can be purchased by visiting the Rose Quarter Arena Box Office. The event will broadcast LIVE starting at 6 p.m. PST on Spike, as well as in Spanish language on mun2. The preliminary card will be streamed LIVE and FREE on Spike.com starting at 4 p.m. PST.

The night will also showcase a preliminary card of Portland’s top athletes. Portland’s own Nathan Coy will make his Bellator debut and face Andy Uhrich, while Brent Primus looks to maintain his undefeated record in a fight against Scott Thometz. Primus has won all of his professional fights by first round submission.
