Shane Mosley vs. Anthony Mundine is Set

Sydney, Australia(August 14th, 2013)–Anthony Mundine has confirmed on social media he will fight former three division world champion ‘Sugar’ Shane Mosley later this year.
Mundine confirmed the 154-pound bout via social media on Wednesday, labelling the event a “huge and defining moment”.
“THE WAIT IS FINALLY OVER! I will be fighting Sugar Shane Mosley at 154p. Lets go! Sugar Shane Mosley Signed & Deal DONE! more details to follow” he wrote on Facebook.
“this is goin to be huge and a defining moment. i feel blessed”.
The fight, reportedly to be held in Sydney, will be Mundine’s first since losing to fellow Australian Daniel Geale in January.
His 41-year-old opponent announced his retirement in June last year having earned five world titles in three weight classes.
But he returned to the ring in May, beating Pablo Cesar Cano by unanimous decision to win the vacant WBC international welterweight title in Mexico.
Mosley is 1-3-1 (win-loss-draw) in his last five fights.
