1. Jeff Monson: 5-0-1 for 2012, fought for M-1, 100% Fight and Road FC. He fought back to back weekends on 11/15 then 11/24 defeating Alexander Emelianenko into retirement during that time.
2. Ronda Rousey: 2-0 for 2012 but earned both the Strikeforce and UFC Titles in that time, becoming the first female UFC title holder and still undefeated.
3. Mighty Mouse Johnson: 2-0-1 for 2012 fighting a draw then victory over Ian Mcall, then taking the first ever flyweight title by beating Joseph Benevides.
4. Benson Henderson: 3-0 for 2012 defeating Frankie edgar twice to gain the lightweight strap, then defending it against Nate Diaz. The second victory over Edgar was very controversial.
5. Rad Martinez: 4-0 for 2012 with the final victory over uber talented bjj black belt Wagney Fabiano. All four wins in featherweight division of Bellator, one more victory gets him a title shot against Pat Curren.
6. Alexander Volkov: 5-0 for 2012 in route to the Heavyweight championship of Bellator. Former training partner for Fedor, Volkov fought 5 times in 2012 with 2 tko victories and 3 decisions fighting back to back to back months in the heavyweight tournament bracket and winning the title.
