Local Staten Island New York hero and lightweight favorite Nick ‘Little Nicky’ DeMarco will fight the main event of a finalized six bout card at the Staten Island Hilton on Thursday, January 31, 2012, announced by Greg Cohen Promotions. Could DeMarco be a distant relation to the late great former World Lightweight champion Pasquale ‘Paddy’ DeMarco of Brooklyn? Paddy DeMarco held the World Lightweight title in 1954. Paddy fought from 1945 to 1959, with a 75-26-3 record.
