Light Middleweight Prospect Alantez Fox to Fight Jimmy LeBlanc

Unbeaten Maryland light middleweight prospect Alantez Fox, now 7-0-1, coming off a draw against Frank Galarza at Resorts World Casino at Aqueduct Raceway this past September 22 against Frank Galarza, will next fight veteran Jimmy LeBlanc (13-22-4) in a six rounder on December 8, 2012, at the Washington D.C. convention Center, according to his promoter Dr. Mario Yagobi, Boxing 360 President.

After that, Fox is scheduled to fight again before a hometown area crowd on January 8, 2013, at Rosecroft Raceway in Fort Washington, Maryland.

Fox currently has a three year contract with Boxing 360 which guarantees four fights a year. Interviewed by telephone, Alante stated he hoped to fight more often than four times a year. Fox currently trains at the Irvin Mixed Martial Arts Gym near his Maryland home, which only started its boxing program two years ago.

So what did the 6’5″ Alantez Fox learn from his recent eight round draw at with New York City area unbeaten prospect Frank Galarza? “Boxing is serious, boxing is real! You have to be in shape, train hard and be motivated. It was a good experience fighting Galarza, because Galarza came to win. As a fighter you want to be challenged by your opponent. It affects your training and gives you the will to win!”
