Hector “Macho” Camacho was shot in Puerto Rico

According to Dr. Ernesto Torres, a bullet hit Camacho in the face and struck a bone in his jaw and the bullet was diverted to the cervical spine – injuring his C5 and C6. Torres says Camacho will likely have issues walking for the rest of his life. Another bullet is stuck in Camacho’s right shoulder.
More information has become available. A vehicle was parked and blocked off the car which Camacho occupied. An individual shot and killed Mojica, who had left the car – likely to ask the the driver of the vehicle in front of them to move. Then the indvidual opened fire on Camacho, who was seated in the car. One of the alleged attackers has been caught by police.
Bayamon, Puerto Rico–We have received terrible news from primerahora.com that Hector Camacho Sr., age 50, has been shot in Puerto Rico. He is reported to be in critical condition at this time. Some sources feel he can make a recovery.
Former boxer Hector “El Macho” Camacho was injured in a car to car shooting occurred at about 7:00 pm or so, while he was a passenger on board a vehicle near Azuquita business, located on Highway 167 in Bayamón.
Agent Perez, the command center in Bayamón Police confirmed the information.
According to information, Camacho has gunshot wounds to the neck and face.
The former boxer was stabilized and transported to Rio Piedras Medical Center in the company of a San Pablo Medical Hospital where he arrived at 8:50 pm casing. The person who was with him in the car, died in the shooting.
Traffic was blocked on the PR-167 in what researchers mark the crime scene.
In the past few years, Camacho had some legal problems in Florida for an assault, however in 2010 he claimed to be a new born Christian.
Hector Camacho Sr. was one of the best in boxing in the 80’s and the 90’s. He had an outstanding record of (79-6-3). The former world champion’s last fight was in 2010. Camacho fought professionally for 28 years.
