Eddie Hearn will reveal the full line-up on Monday October 22 for the Betfair ‘Christmas Cracker’ show at the Olympia in London on December 8 live on Sky Sports – and he is promising an early Christmas present for fight fans.

The 12 fight card will feature British and European lightweight champion and former World light welterweight champion Gavin Rees, former European middleweight champion and World title challenger Darren Barker, Lee Purdy’s explosive welterweight clash with Carson Jones, Erick Ochieng defending his English middleweight title, the rematch of the eye-catching Southern Area light welterweight title clash between champ Danny Connor and Chris Evangelou and John Ryder fights for his first pro title.

The December 8 show completes a fantastic few months for the Matchroom Sport stable, with Carl Frampton and Tony Bellew claiming significant World class scalps, Rocky Fielding securing his first major title and Terry Flannigan coming out on top of the best Prizefighter line-up ever and with Carl Froch ready for the first defence of his IBF super middleweight World title against Yusaf Mack in Nottingham on November 17.

“This is our Christmas present to fight fans that come to the shows and watch live on Sky Sports,” said Hearn, who will go through the action packed card at a press conference on Monday in London. “We’ve put together a fantastic card for the Olympia, with Purdy’s clash with Jones bound to be a corker, Rees in with a top class domestic foe, Barker returning with a tough test and a whole host of young talent eager to impress – our last night of 2012 promises to be one not to miss.”

Tickets for Betfair’s Christmas Cracker go on sale at 2pm on Monday.
