WBA is pushing Geale vs. Golovkin. Must happen by end of year.

The World Boxing Assosiation ( WBA ) is finally putting their foot down and ordering the new WBA Super Champion Daniel ” The Real Deal ” Geale, who just beat the long time champ Felix Sturm by razor thin Split Decision last Saturday who has by many considered to have avoided Mandatory and ” Regular ” Champion Gennady Golovkin for years, to face Golovkin. This is a long time waiting for the man known as ” GGG ”, Who has held one of the WBA’s paper titles for a couple years and with a huge win this weekend to Grezgorz Proksa of Poland in his USA debut clearly earned a big fight like this.
The WBA says Geale has until the end of this year, December 31st to set the fight up or he will likely be stripped of his ” Super ” title he won from Sturm. Of course he could just give it up, he still has his IBF belt he previously won in a boxing clinic also in Germany over Sebastian Sylvester. It wouldn’t be too stupid to give it up for the massive amount of risk it would be verses Golovkin. But post fight against Sturm he says he isn’t ducking Golovkin. And Golovkin says he’d like this fight but would fight anyone he can get put in front of him. This is great news, seems everyone wants it. Fighters, WBA, Promoters, so lets get this going.
The winner is a clear front runner for the winner of the big HBO PPV bout September 15th between Sergio ” Maravilla ” Martinez and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, and could very well win.
