Diaz who is 24, fights out of South El Monte, California and is trained by Joseph Diaz Sr. Diaz Jr, a 2012 U.S. Olympian is an upcoming talent in the 126 pound division. In 2016 he went 4-0 and defeated former title contender Jayson Velez, Andrew Cancio,Victor Proa and Horacio Garcia. In 2017, many believe Diaz will be fighting for a title.
