Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (November 23rd, 2025)– David Benavidez (31-0, 24 KOs) defeated Anthony Yarde (27-4, 24 KOs) by technical knockout in the seventh round to retain his WBC and WBA light heavyweight titles on November 22, 2025. The fight took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and saw Benavidez dominate Yarde with his pressure and power. The bout was a WBC and WBA light heavyweight championship fight held as part of the “Ring IV: Night of the Champions” event. Benavidez systematically broke down Yarde over the course of the fight.

In the seventh round, Benavidez cornered Yarde and landed a flurry of heavy, unanswered blows. The referee stopped the contest at 1:59 into the round. The victory maintained Benavidez’s undefeated record, improving it to 31-0 with 25 knockouts. Yarde’s third attempt at a world title was unsuccessful.

Devin Haney (33-0 15 KOs, 1 NC) defeated Brian Norman Jr. (28-1, 22 KOs) by unanimous decision to become the new WBO Welterweight champion on November 22, 2025. The fight took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of the “Ring IV: Night of the Champions” card. Haney scored a knockdown in the second round with a clean right hand that caught Norman off balance. After the knockdown, Haney dominated the fight with a jab and a check hook every time Norman tried to close the distance. Norman showed heart and came on later in the fight, however it was not enough to get a significant offense going.

Haney won by unanimous decision with scorecards of 114–113, 117–110, and 116–111. The victory made Haney a three-division world champion.The win was a comeback for Haney after his 2024 fight against Ryan Garcia, which was ruled a no-contest, and a lackluster performance when he defeated Jose Ramirez in May 2025.

Abdullah Mason defeated Sam Noakes by unanimous decision to win the vacant WBO lightweight title. Noakes landed heavy shots, especially to the body, but Mason’s speed, tactical boxing, and damaging left uppercuts were decisive. Noakes was hampered by a bloody cut above his left eye after a clash of heads early in the fight. Mason controlled the fight in the later rounds, particularly with his body shots in the eighth and 10th rounds, though Noakes showed incredible toughness by refusing to go down.

A”Fight of the Year” Contender: The bout was described as a brutal, action-packed slugfest that went the full 12 rounds. Mason won by unanimous decision with scorecards of 117–111, 115–113, and 115–113. At 21 years old, Mason became the youngest active male world champion in boxing. The win improved his record to 20-0, while Noakes suffered the first loss of his career, dropping to 17-1.

Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez defeated Fernando “Puma” Martinez by a 10th-round knockout in a super flyweight title unification bout in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on November 22, 2025. With the win, Rodriguez added the WBA super flyweight title to his WBC and WBO titles.Rodriguez controlled the fight with his slick footwork, angles, and precision punching, eventually flooring Martinez with a left hook in the 10th round. The victory, described as a masterclass performance by Rodriguez, further solidifies his standing as one of the best fighters in the sport.

Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez def. Fernando “Puma” Martinez by KO/TKO, 1:25 in Round 10 of 12 after dominating most of the fight. Martinez injured his nose earlier in the fight and had to keep clearing the blood during each round. Rodriguez captured the WBA title and unified it with his existing WBC and WBO titles.
