Co-Main Event Preview: Opetaia vs. Mikaelian
Unbeaten Australian Jai Opetaia (30-0, 23 KOs) defends his Zuffa Boxing and Ring Magazine cruiserweight titles against Armenia’s Noel Mikaelian (28-3, 12 KOs), the reigning WBC cruiserweight champion, in what should be the best pure boxing match on the card even before accounting for the chaos surrounding it. Four days before fight night, Don King Productions filed a cease-and-desist letter against TKO Group and Zuffa Boxing, claiming exclusive promotional rights to Mikaelian and demanding the bout be scrapped entirely, a near-identical maneuver King used to sink a Michael Hunter fight in 2025. Neither side has blinked. “He’s fighting this weekend,” Dana White said flatly, and Mikaelian dismissed the letter as “just noise.” The WBC is expected to strip Mikaelian of his title if the fight goes forward regardless of the outcome, meaning Saturday’s winner may end up chasing the very belt being stripped for showing up, on top of the Zuffa and Ring Magazine straps actually on the line. Style-wise, it’s a compelling matchup between Opetaia’s speed and volume and Mikaelian’s experience as a two-time world champion at 200 pounds, and Opetaia himself brushed off the legal noise simply: “That’s just boxing, man.”

Why You Should Watch on DAZN
For fans in the UK and Ireland, this is a DAZN pay-per-view night worth clearing your schedule for, not just another title defense. You get a genuine title fight with real animosity behind it in the main event, a co-main event carrying its own promotional soap opera on top of a legitimate 50-50 stylistic clash between two world champions, and a deep undercard built by Zuffa Boxing’s growing stable of prospects. Garcia-Benn is the kind of transatlantic grudge match British boxing fans wait years for, with Nigel Benn’s own history on the line through his son. DAZN’s coverage runs from the early prelims straight through the main event ring walks, giving UK and Irish viewers the full night rather than a truncated version, and it’s available through DAZN pay-per-view or as part of the DAZN Ultimate Tier subscription. If you only buy one PPV this month, this is the one.
