SHAKUR STEVENSON VS. TEOFIMO LOPEZ RESULTS, VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS, POST-PRESS CONFERENCE, SOCIAL MEDIA REACTION & JARELL MILLER LOSES HAIR
New York, NY (February 1st, 2026)– Shakur Stevenson became a four-division world champion by defeating Teofimo Lopez Jr. via a dominant unanimous decision on January 31, 2026, at Madison Square Garden. All three judges scored the bout 119-109, with Stevenson outlanding Lopez 165 to 72 in a technical masterclass.
Stevenson (25-0) moved up to junior welterweight and effectively neutralized Lopez’s power with a “laser-accurate” right jab. Lopez (22-2) struggled to find his range, with all three judges awarding him only the 8th round. Stevenson now holds the WBO and Ring Magazine junior welterweight titles.
Keyshawn Davis made a statement and remained undefeated (14-0) with a late-round stoppage of Jamaine Ortiz, dropping him in the 11th before the referee halted the bout in the 12th.
Bruce Carrington captured the vacant WBC featherweight title with a 9th-round knockout of Carlos Castro in front of a hometown crowd.
Jarrell Miller’s viral moment came during his split decision victory over Kingsley Ibeh. Miller’s toupee was knocked off by an uppercut in the second round; he eventually threw the hairpiece into the crowd before rallying for the win. Many people at ringside felt Ibeh had done enough to win; however, he slowed down as the fight went on. You can see the video below.
Following the main event, Conor Benn entered the ring to confront Stevenson, leading to a heated exchange after Stevenson called him out for a future fight.
