Robbie Lawler vs. Matt Brown at UFC Fox 12 is Announced
Las Vegas, NV (May 27, 2014)– The UFC announced today that Matt Brown (19-11) will be facing the dangerous striker, Robbie Lawler at UFC Fox 12. Brown has won 7 fights in a row and had an amazing comeback victory against Erick Silva in his last fight.
Lawler, 32,(23-10, 1 NC), is 4-1 thus far in his second UFC stint and has wins over Josh Koscheck and Rory MacDonald. Lawler is also coming off a third round TKO against Jake Ellenberger at UFC 173.
“Yes winner of Lawler vs Brown gets the next shot at the title,” UFC President Dana White stated on his Twitter.
UFC on FOX 12 takes place on July 26, 2014 at the SAP Center in San Jose, CA. An updated fight card can be seen below.
