Zuffa Boxing’s Inaugural Full Card Announced For Friday

Las Vegas, NV (January 19th, 2026)– Zuffa Boxing’s inaugural event, Zuffa Boxing 01, is scheduled for Friday, January 23, 2026, at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada. The card will feature an eight-bout lineup and will be streamed live on Paramount+ starting at 9 pm ET. The three-fight main card starts at 9 pm ET. It is headlined by undefeated middleweight Callum Walsh against Mexican Carlos Ocampo in the 10-round main event.
Also featured on the undercard is New Jersey’s Julian Rodriguez (24-1, 15 KOs) against Cain Sandoval (17-0, 15 KOs), of Sacramento, California, in a 10-round welterweight bout.
“The first Zuffa Boxing event is filled with the best up-and-coming talent, hungry and excited to prove that they will be future world champions,” said UFC president and CEO Dana White. “The top three fights feature four fighters who are undefeated, including 15-0 Callum Walsh as he takes on the 38-3 Carlos Ocampo, who has more knockout victories than Callum has total professional fights, and his last three wins have come by knockout. I’m looking forward to bringing great fighters and incredible fights back to fight fans.”
Zuffa Boxing is a joint venture between TKO Group Holdings, Inc. and entertainment conglomerate Sela.

Jai Opetaia Signs With Zuffa Boxing
On a side note, Australian cruiserweight champion Jai Opetaia has officially signed a major promotional deal with Zuffa Boxing, a new promotion co-founded by Dana White and Turki Alalshikh.
This signing was announced on Friday, January 16, 2026, and is considered Zuffa Boxing’s most significant acquisition to date, as Opetaia is an active world champion holding the IBF and The Ring cruiserweight titles.
Jai Opetaia, 30, (29-0, 23 KOs) is widely regarded as one of the best cruiserweights in the world and brings instant legitimacy to the new promotion. Opetaia expressed excitement about the future, stating his aim for “unification and undisputed soon”.
In our opinion, there could be a push for Opetaia to fight David Benavidez in the future in a super fight. Opetaia was previously signed by Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Promotions.
