Las Vegas, NV (January 22, 2026)– UFC finally returns to a new 7-year network deal on Paramount+ with an all-action showdown for the interim lightweight title. #4-ranked Justin Gaethje, 37, (27-5), a veteran brawler known for his power, has won three of his last four fights, while the undefeated-in-UFC UK sensation #5-ranked Paddy Pimblett, 30, (23-3) looks to capitalize on a nine-fight winning streak overall. The winner will face Ilia Topuria for the UFC Lightweight Title.
In the co-main event, Sean O’Malley, 31, (18-3, 1NC) will take on Song Yadong, 28, (22-8, 1 NC). This bantamweight clash pits former champion Sean O’Malley against the ascending and well-rounded Song Yadong, with potential title implications in a highly competitive division.
In a battle of heavyweights, the legendary knockout artist, Derrick Lewis, 40, (29-12, 1 NC) faces the rising “Salsa Boy” Waldo Cortes-Acosta, 34, (16-2) in a fight that could determine a future title challenger. Acosta has been busy and has won 7 out of his last 8 fights. Former world title challenger Lewis has won 2 fights in a row and is looking to regain contender status in the UFC heavyweight division.
