Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (December 27th, 2025)– Naoya Inoue, 32, (32-0, 27 Kos) secured a dominant unanimous decision victory over Alan David Picasso, 25 (32-1, 17 Kos) on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to retain his undisputed super bantamweight world titles. The win keeps Inoue’s professional record perfect and which sets up a potential mega fight with fellow Japanese champion Junto Nakatani, 27, (32-0, 24 Kos) in 2026.
Inoue delivered a masterful performance, showcasing superior speed, footwork, and body shots, though he was taken the distance for the second consecutive fight.
Picasso, who entered the fight undefeated, displayed immense toughness and heart to absorb the punishment and last all 12 rounds, suffering the first loss of his career.
The fight was the main event of the “Ring V: Night of the Samurai” card in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, designed to put both Inoue and Nakatani on a collision course for a future showdown.
