New WBC Silver Welterweight Champion Quadratillo Abduqaxorov Is A Dangerous Undefeated Unknown Prospect

Editorial By Robert Brizel, Head Real Combat Media Boxing Correspondent

Singapore, Singapore (March 26th, 2017)– Errol Spence Jr., Keith Thurman, Kell Brook, Shawn Porter, Danny Garcia, Manny Pacquiao, Amir Khan, Timothy Bradley Jr., everybody better watch out. Every once an awhile, in the grand tradition of GGG, an unknown Uzbec or Kazakh hungry fighter rises up from the unknown shadows of the obscure European corridor and starts winning like mad. The prospect’s records screams to be signed and be discovered.

Quadratillo Abduqaxorov is one such prospect. His name is almost impossible to spell, all the more interesting. Since his debut in October 2015 with a third round stoppage of Timor Smimov, has won eleven straight bouts, with eight coming by way of knockout, a nearly 75% percent knockout ratio.

On March 25, 2017, Adduqaxorov took out Charles Manyukshi of Zimbabwe in the first round. Manyukshi, an established 12 round fighter who had never been stopped before, is a former African Boxing Union and WBC International titleholder. In the main event process, Abduqaxorov won the vacant World Boxing Council Silver Welterweight title, a fine performance for an unknown fighter out there waiting to be discovered.

Result:

Quadratillo Abduqaxorov TKO 1 Charles Manyakushi, welterweights (2:56)

Abduqaxorov won the vacant World Boxing Council Silver Welterweight title

Referee: Raymond Chang
